A native of New Iberia, Louisiana, Alexis Brown, is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2017 and went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at McNeese State University in 2025. Her nursing career is diverse and well-rounded, with experience in pediatrics, pediatric intensive care, long-term care, and home health. In addition to providing direct patient care as a registered nurse, she has also served in leadership as a branch manager for a local home health agency. She has further contributed to the profession as an RN clinical instructor, helping educate and mentor future nurses. Known for her genuine compassion and commitment to excellence, she approaches every patient encounter with empathy and dedication. Her work has been recognized through multiple “Best of the Teche” awards for both Best Nurse and Best Home Health Nurse over the past five years. She is an active member of her community and a proud graduate of Leadership Iberia Class XXV. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys shopping, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is a proud mother to two daughters, Avery and Rose, and loves being a dance mom. She is excited to begin this new chapter, providing high-quality, compassionate care alongside Dr. Manthena.
